MK leads QFM's financial programs as Lead Financial & Business Development Specialist. Her focus is simple to state and hard to do well: making sure a new business has sound financial systems from its first day, not after its first problem.
Twenty-five years in business finance
MK is a business finance consultant with 25 years of experience strategizing, analyzing and problem-solving for clients' finances and future growth. She holds a BA in Business Management and completed advanced accounting and tax coursework, with a special focus on taxation.
She advises on tax regulations, operations and business planning within federal and state rules, the areas where small businesses most often get caught out.
Designing QFM's financial programs
MK designs practical programs that help business owners:

Keeping every program within the rules
Within every QFM program, MK keeps close watch on the federal and state requirements, certifications and regulations that apply, and reviews and approves the program paperwork before it moves forward. It is one of four checks every program passes, alongside Dr. Sam's legal review, Rudy's business review and Tom's financial verification.
Working with the QFM team
MK works alongside the Business Development and Grant & Opportunity teams to shape startup programs, funding pathways and financial strategies that help qualified new businesses get established and grow sustainably.
